1) THE PROVISION OF ALMSHOUSES FOR PERSONS WHO: I) ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS; AND II) ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT; AND III) ARE OVER FIFTY. 2) THE RELIEF OF PERSONS WHO: I) ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP, SICK CONVALESCENT, DISABLED OR INFIRM; AND II) ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. 3) TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 WHO ARE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND ARE RESIDENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT. 4) TO FURTHER RELIGIOUS AND OTHER CHARITABLE WORK IN THE PARISH OF LITTLE EATON. 5) IF APPROPRIATE, TO MAKE GRANTS TOWARDS CHURCHYARD MAINTENANCE, PARTICULARLY PERTAINING TO THE GRAVES OF THOMAS BATES AND HIS FAMILY.
