THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION GENERALLY AND IN PARTICULAR BUT AT THE DISCRETION OF THE TRUSTEES TO PROMOTE THE STUDY OF AND RESEARCH INTO THE SCRIPT AND HANDWRITING USED BY HUMANISTIC SCHOLARS AND AUTHORS IN ITALY AND ELSEWHERE WHETHER IN THE COPYING OF MANUSCRIPTS OR THE ANNOTATION OF PRINTED BOOKS OF OTHERWISE FROM THE THIRTEENTH CENTURY ONWARDS AND TO PUBLISH THE RESULTS OF ALL SUCH STUDY AND RESEARCH.
