1. THE PRESERVATION AND RESTORATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THE ROYAL HALL AND ITS ENVIRONS IN HARROGATE BEING A PLACE OF PARTICULAR HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL INTEREST. 2. SUCH FURTHER WORKS AND ACTIVITIES AS SHALL IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES BE NECESSARY OR DESIRABLE TO ENHANCE PUBLIC ACCESS TO, UNDERSTANDING OF, AND ENJOYMENT OF THE ROYAL HALL AND ITS ENVIRONS. 3. THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE HERITAGE OF THE ROYAL HALL PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE PERSONS AND/OR EVENTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE HISTORY OF THE ROYAL HALL.
