THE TRUSTEES SHALL HOLD THE TRUST FUND AND ITS INCOME UPON TRUST TO APPLY THEM FOR THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS IN THE BOROUGH OF ROSSENDALE THE PROMOTION OF EDUCATION AND IN PARTICULAR: (I) THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TOWARDS THE MAINTENANCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF BACUP AND RAWTENSTALL GRAMMAR SCHOOL; AND (II) THE CREATION OF SCHOLARSHIPS OR BURSARIES OR PRIZES TO BE AWARDED TO PUPILS AT, AND FORMER PUPILS OF, BACUP AND RAWTENSTALL GRAMMAR SCHOOL.
