Activities - how the charity spends its money
AGMK provides a number of activities for Ghanaians living in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Some of the activities include the Annual Independence Fundraising Dinner Dance in March of each year, a trip to the Seaside in the summer, a number of health and wellbeing talks and presentations by experts in those field. Other activities are usually posted on our social media websites.

Charitable objects
THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT:- 1)TO ADVANCE THE PUBLIC’S EDUCATION IS THE HISTORY, CULTURE AND HERITAGE OF GHANA; 2)THE RELIEF AND ASSISTANCE OF PEOPLE IN GHANA WHO ARE THE VICTIMS OF VICTIMS OF NATURAL OR OTHER KINDS OF DISASTER, TROUBLE OR CATASTROPHE IN THE FORM OF MONEY OR OTHER MEANS DEEMED SUITABLE; AND 3)TO PROVIDE RELIEF TO THOSE GRANTED REFUGEE STATUS IN THE UK BY PROVIDING FACILITIES AND SUPPORT SERVICES SO AS TO ADVANCE THEM IN LIFE AND ASSIST THEM WITH THE ADAPTION WITHIN A NEW COMMUNITY, WITH THE OBJECTS OF: - A)PRESERVING AND PROTECTING THEIR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH; B)RELIEVING THEM FROM FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AND UNEMPLOYMENT; AND C)PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES.
