THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: (1) THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH AMONG PEOPLE IN GHANA AND SUCH OTHER PARTS OF AFRICA INCLUDING THROUGH THE PROVISION OF HOME BASED PALLIATIVE NURSING CARE AND BY THE PROVISION OF CARERS AND PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND TRAINING TO SUCH CARERS. (2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND AWARENESS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC OF PALLIATIVE CARE IN GHANA AND SUCH OTHER PARTS OF AFRICA AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT.
