THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT: TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC, INCLUDING (BUT NOT LIMITED TO) BY UNDERTAKING AND FUNDING RESEARCH INTO THE NATURE, CAUSES, DIAGNOSIS, PREVENTION, TREATMENT AND CURE OF ALL FORMS OF VISUAL IMPAIRMENT AND THE TREATMENT OF AND CARE FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED PEOPLE; AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH FUNDING AND UNDERTAKING RESEARCH INTO THE HEALTH, ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND OTHER IMPACTS OF VISUAL IMPAIRMENT.
