Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Omega Centre Trust shall manage the asset, and ensure its occupancy is maximised, thus improving income. The Trust shall fill the gap in activities not currently run by user groups, increasing the revenue generated. Seek out grant funding for the facility, that will enable the local members of the community to participate in activities at the Omega Centre.

(A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF PRIMARILY THE INHABITANTS OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF GENDER, AGE, ETHNICITY, DISABILITY OR POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES, AND PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, HEALTH AND WELLBEING FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS; (B) TO ESTABLISH OR SECURE THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A CENTRE FOR THE COMMUNITY AND TO MANAGE AND MAINTAIN, OR TO CO-OPERATE WITH OTHERS IN THE MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF SUCH AS CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE TRUST AND BY OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECT.
