The objects of the Society are to advance the education of the public in Welsh culture and fine arts and to preserve the Welsh language and foster an interest in Welsh culture and Heritage in Newport and district to hold meetings and events for members including events to which the public may be admitted, with or without charge, and to celebrate St. David`s Day in an appropriate manner
