To promote and advance education, particularly in music, for public benefit and to encourage the appreciation of all types of choral music in any part of the world as a memorial to the life and work of Sir Malcolm Sargent. To support and assist the Clic Sargent (Cancer Care for Children) and any charitable and other organisations whose objectives contribute in any way to the above.
