Dartmouth United Charities provides almshouse accommodation to poor persons of good character, who have lived in Dartmouth for two years before their appointment, or in exceptional circumstances, live outside the area but are otherwise qualified. It also makes grants to individuals and to organisations supporting Dartmouth residents who are in need, hardship or distress.
