Activities - how the charity spends its money
HBL's unique scheme brings adult education to people unable to access mainstream classes due to disability, illness, frailty, by sending volunteers to share courses with students in their own home. This reduces isolation, helps people fulfil themselves. In addition, we deliver our courses to groups of people in sheltered housing, care homes and day centres, a service which is in much demand.
