Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Society seeks to promote interest in, and raise awareness of the archaeology, ethnography and heritage of Sudan and Egyptian Nubia. It organises a series of lectures and colloquia, publishes an annual journal, "Sudan and Nubia", together with scholarly monographs. The Society raises funds, some of which are disbursed as grants for archaeological survey and excavation projects.
