TO RELIEVE POVERTY AND TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND PROMOTE THE REHABILITATION OF WOMEN WHO ARE IN PENAL INSTITUTIONS ,AND IN PARTICULAR BUT WITHOUT LIMIT TO THE FOREGOING , WOMEN FROM ETHNIC MINORITY GROUPS.(2) TO RELIEVE THE POVERTY OF LONE PARENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN AND, IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE, TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION, RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF SUCH PERSONS, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
