The Trust arose from the wish of Thomas Wall II in 1920 and gives grants for the assistance, support and encouragement of (a) individuals who have financial difficulties but who wish to pursue vocational courses and (b) registered charities for specific projects showing originality in the fields of education and social service in its broadest sense.
