Friends of the Sick (Chevrat Bikkur Cholim) is an independent charity whose objective is to provide support workers to members of the Jewish Community who are incapacitated through accident, ill-health, old age or any other reason. The Charity strives to achieve this by providing one-on-one support in the homes of members of the Jewish Community who live in the London area.

1) TO ORGANISE AND MAINTAIN THE SUPPLY OF JEWISH NURSES AND HOME HELPS OFR NEEDY JEWISH PERSONS INCAPACITATED THROUGH ACCIDENT, ILL HEALTH OLD AGE CHILDBIRTH OR OTHER REASON AND TO RENDER FINANCIAL AND OTHER ASSISTANCE AS MAY BE NECESSARY. 2) TO ARRANGE FOR VISITING OF AND SUPPLY OF KOSHER FOOD TO AND GENERALLY PROVIEDE FOR CARE AND COMFORT OF JEWISH NEEDY PERSONS RESIDENT IN LONDON (PARTICULARLY IN THE NORTH WEST DISTRICTS) WHO ARE INCAPACITATED.
