THE AIMS AND OBJECTS OF THE COMMITTEE SHALL BE THE CONTINUOUS CARE OF TUBERCULOUS PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH A VIEW TO THE PREVENTION OF FURTHER DISEASE. SUBJECT TO THE NEEDS OF THESE PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES BEING SATISFIED, THE COMMITTEE SHALL, AT ITS DISCRETION EXTEND THE CARE WORK TO ASSIST PATIENTS WITH NON-TUBERCULOSIS DISEASES OF THE CHEST.
