Charitable objects

(1) THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: (A) THE PROVISION OF HOUSING ACCOMMODATION FOR PERSONS IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP, OR DISTRESS WHO HAVE RESIDED IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT FOR NOT LESS THAN FIVE YEARS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE TIME OF APPROVAL OR WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY LIVED IN THE AREA FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE CONTINUOUS YEARS AND WISH TO RETURN TO LIVE PERMANENTLY IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT; AND (B) SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS AS THE TRUSTEES DECIDE. (2) THE LAND IDENTIFIED IN PART 1 OF THE SCHEDULE TO THIS SCHEME MUST BE RETAINED BY THE TRUSTEES FOR USE FOR THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY.
