Charitable objects
(1) RELIEVING IN CASES OF NEED PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE BOROUGH OF ROCHDALE WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, DISABLED, HANDICAPPED OR INFIRM. (2) IF AND IN SO FAR AS THE INCOME CANNOT BE APPLIED AS IN (1) IT MAY BE APPLIED FOR THE PURPOSE OF RELIEVING IN CASES OF NEED PERSONS WHOSE PHYSICAL OR MENTAL HEALTH IS LIKELY TO BE IMPRIRED BY REASON OF POVERTY, DEPRIVATON OR OTHER ADVERSITY.
