THE SAID HEREDITAMENT SHALL BE HELD UPON TRUST TO PERMIT THE SAME TO BE USED IN PERPETUITY AS A TOWN HALL CLUB AND INSTITUTE FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF STOCKBRIDGE AND DISTRICT EITHER GRATIUTOUSLEY OR IN CONSIDERATION OF ANY MONEY PAYMENT OR ON SUCH TERMS AS TE COMMITTEE HEREAFTER MENTIONED MAY THINK FIT AND SO THAT THE SAID HEREDITAMENTS SHALL BE USED FOR THE PURPOSE AFORESAID WITHOUT ANY DISTINCTION BEING MADE AS TO RELIGIOUS CREED POLITICAL OPINION OR SOCIAL STATUS.
