The Metcalfe Shannon Trust was established in 1967 from a legacy to the Canadian Veterans Assoc, it was mandated to assist Canadian Veterans and their families in the UK with unexpected expenses which might be causing financial hardship. The Trustees meet quarterly and consider the cases recommended either by Welfare Officers of the Veterans Assoc, or via direct appeals. DUE TO CLOSE MARCH 2008.
