THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE: A. TO PROMOTE THE EFFICIENCY OF THE BRIGADE OF GURKHAS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: (1) FOSTERING ESPRIT DE CORPS AND COMRADESHIP BY PROMOTING AND MAINTAINING CONTACT AMONG SERVING AND FORMER MEMBERS OF THE BRIGADE OF GURKHAS AND THE FORMER REGIMENT, AND (2) PRESERVING THE HISTORY AND TRADITIONS OF THE BRIGADE OF GURKHAS AND THE FORMER REGIMENT; B. TO RELIEVE FORMER MEMBERS OF THE FORMER REGIMENT OR FORMER OR SERVING MEMBERS OF THE BRIGADE OF GURKHAS OR PERSONS CONSIDERED BY THE TRUSTEES TO HAVE A SUBSTANTIVE LINK WITH THE FORMER REGIMENT, AND THEIR DEPENDANTS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS.
