Charitable objects

(A) TO ADVANCE THE THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF PERSONS ENGAGED OR INTENDING TO BE ENGAGED IN THE PETROLEUM INDUSTRY BY PROVIDING SUCH TRAINING AS THE MEMBERS MAY REQUIRE AND REQUEST IN PARTICULAR IN SKISS NECESSARY FOR OFFSHORE DRILLING AND PRODUCTION WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO SAFETY. (BE SUBJECT TO THE FOREGOING OBJECTS TO EXTEND THE BENEFIT OF THE EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING FACILITIES OF THE ASSOCIATION TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC GENERALLY.
