CONSTITUTION ADOPTED 27TH APRIL 1983
1. TO ADVANCE THE JEWISH RELIGION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RITES PRINCIPLES AND USAGES OF THE JEWS IN ENGLAND BY THE PROVISION OF (A) FACILITIES FOR ANY PERSONS FOR PUBLIC RELIGIOUS WORSHIP IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SAID PRINCIPLES AN USAGES (B) FACILITEIS FOR ANY PERSON TO STUDY AND RECIEVE INSTRUCTION IN JEWISH RELIGIOUS LITERATURE AND (C) TH GRANT OF SCHOLARSHIP OR BURSARIES T O SCHOLARS OR STUDENT RECIEVING JEWISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (2) TO BENEFIT ANY PERSONS OF THE JEWISH RELIGION BY THE PROVISION OF RECREAIONAL FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR SUCH PERSONS WHO ARE IN NEED OF SUCH FACILITEIS BY REASON OF THEIR AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT OR POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPORVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
