Charitable objects

(A) THE RELIEF OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING MEALS, CLOTHING AND SHELTER AND OTHERWISE CARING FOR THE POOR AND NEEDY INCLUDING (WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING) POOR AND NEEDY PERSONS VISITING THE ABBEY OF ST. MARY AND ST. PETER, PRINKNASH IN THE COUNTY OF GLOUCESTER. (B) THE UPKEEP OF THE FABRIC OF THE ABBEY AND OTHER BUILDINGS AT PRINKNASH FOR THE TIME BEING OCCUPIED BY THE COMMUNITY OF BENEDICITINE MONKS NOW ESTABLISHED AT THE ABBEY. (D) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHARITABLE WORKS FOR THE TIME BEING CARRIED ON BY THE SAID COMMUNITY. (E) THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC RELIGION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM BY SUCH WORKS AND OTHER MEANS AS MAY BE CHARITABLE.
