Charitable objects
1. TO ADVANCE THE TEACHING OF LORD BUDDHA AS REVISED BY THE LATE DR B R AMBEDKAR. 2. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC, AND IN PARTICULAR, OF THE INDIAN WOMEN BY THE PROVISION OF CLASSES IN ENGLISH AND INDIAN LANGUAGES AND SUCH OTHER SUBJECTS AS THE COMMITTEE THINKS FIT. 3. TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS AMONGST MEMBERS OF THE BUDDHIST COMMINITY. 4. TO WORK TOWARDS THE ELIMINATION OF THE TREATMENT OF MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY LESS FAVOURABLE THAN OTHER MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY ON GROUNDS OF COLOUR, RACE, NATIONALITY OR ETHNIC OR NATIONAL ORIGINS8 AND TO PROMOTE EQUALITY OR OPPORTUNITY AND GOOD RELATIONS BETWEEN PERSONS OF DIFFERNET RACIAL GROUPS.
