Activities - how the charity spends its money
Cambridgeshire Choral Society was founded to give amateur singers living in mostly rural communities the opportunity to widen their experience of singing by working towards the performance of a major concert with professional musicians. It celebrates its sixtieth anniversary in 2020 with a concert in West Road Concert Hall, Cambridge on Saturday 18th April.

TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS (UNDER A PROFESSIONAL CONDUCTOR WITH PROFESSIONAL SOLOISTS AND, WHERE REPUIRED, A FULL ORCHESTRA) AND SUCH OTHER MEANS AS THE SOCIETY THROUGH ITS COMMITTEE SHALL DETERMINE.
