Charitable objects

1. IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE TO PROMOTE THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A SWIMMING POOL, PREFERABLY HEATED AND INDOORS, IN THE AREA OF LITTLEHAMPTON, IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE INHABATITANTS OF THE AREA. 2. TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA AND FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
