Charitable objects
(1)THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION FOR NON-SWIMMERS AGED 11 AND UNDER AND CHILDREN FROM THE PORTSMOUTH PRIMARY SCHOOLS UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY (AGED 7-11) PARTICULARLY THROUGH THE INSTRUCTION IN THE ART OF SWIMMING AND RELATED ACTIVITIES WITH THE OBJECTS OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE. (2) THE PRESERVATION OF HUMAN LIFE BY TEACHING AND PRACTICE OF SWIMMING, WATER SAFETY, RESUSCITATION OR SURVIVAL IN THE WATER.
