Children Reaching Children is a charitable organization based in Lambeth. It is dedicated to supporting the development of children through education music and the arts. We work with young people and adults from underpreviledged and minority backgrounds. Charitable objects
[A] THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY RESIDENT WITHIN THE INNER LONDON BOROUGHS AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT SO AS TO LIMIT THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING:- (1) PROVIDING AND MAINTAINING A SCHOOL OR OTHER EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE. (2) THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE (INCLUDING THOSE OVER THE STATUTORY SCHOOL LEAVING AGE) WHO ARE IN NEED OF EDUCATION SO AS TO DEVELOP THEIR FULL CAPACITIES AND ENABLE THEM TO BECOME RESPONSIBLE MEMBERS OF SOCIETY AND SO THAT THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE MAY BE IMPROVED. (3) PROMOTING MENTAL MORAL AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF CHILDREN AN YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES. [B] THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL NEED PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY AMONGST PEOPLE RESIDENT IN THE INNER LONDON BOROUGHS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND DEPENDANTS AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT SO AS TO LIMIT THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING:- (1)THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE ACCOMMODATION GOODS AND SERVICES. (2) ASSISTING YOUNG PEOPLE WHO ARE IN FINANCIAL NEED TO RECEIVE TRAINING TO ENABLE THEM TO EARN THEIR LIVING. (3)THE PROVISION OF FREE LEGAL SERVICES AND ASSISTANCE FOR POOR PEOPLE WHICH THEY WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE ABLE TO OBTAIN THROUGH LACK OF MEANS. (4) THE PROVISION OF DAY CENTRES AND RECREATIONAL AND SOCIAL FACILITIES TO ALLEVIATE THE LONELINESS AND ISOLATION OF THE AGED AND SUFFERING AND PROVIDING COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT FOR SUCH PEOPLE OR THEIR FAMILIES . [C] THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH AND RELIGION AND IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT SO AS TO LIMIT THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING:- (1) THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES AND PRACTISE OF CHRISTIANITY BY MEANS OF SUNDAY SCHOOLS CLASSES SEMINARS LECTURES AND CONFERENCES. (2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF CHILDREN IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DOCTRINES OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION.
