THE OBJECTS OF THE PRIORY ARE TO ENCOURAGE THE SPIRITUAL AND MORAL STRENGTHENING OF MANKIND AND TO ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF PERSONS IN SICKNESS, DISTRESS, SUFFERING OR DANGER AND FOR THAT PURPOSE TO PROMOTE, MAINTAIN AND CARRY OUT WITHIN AND FROM THE TERRITORY THE OBJECTS AND PURPOSES OF THE ORDER AS SET OUT IN STATUTE 4 (SEE PARAGRAPH 7 OF RULES)
