Charitable objects
(A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF SCOUTING IN THE UNITED KINGDOM FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS, AS INDIVIDUALS, AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING :- (1) THE PROVISION OF A WORLD JAMBOREE IN ENGLAND IN THE YEAR 2007 FOR THE BENEFIT OF MEMBERS OF THE WORLD ORGANISATION OF SCOUT MOVEMENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN ACHIEVING THEIR FULL PHYSICAL, INTELLECTUAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL POTENTIALS IN AN INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY. (11) THE PROVISION OF SUCH ACTIVITIES AS MAY BE CONSIDERED NECESSARY BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS TO TRAIN, DEVELOP OR TEST FACILITIES FOR ACTIVITIES TO BE OFFERED A WORLD JAMBOREE IN 2007. (111) THE PROVISION OF ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM TO COMMEMORATE ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF SCOUTING AND TO PROMOTE THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH THE OBJECTIVES OF SCOUTING. (1V) THE PROVISION OF ACTIVITIES WORLDWIDE IN COLLABORATION WITH THE WORLD ORGANISATION OF SCOUT MOVEMENTS TO FURTHER ANY OR ALL OF THESE OBJECTIVES PARTICULARLY THAT OF ENCOURAGING YOUNG PEOPLE TO BECOME RESPONSIBLE MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES. (V) BY ANY OTHER MEANS WHICH SHALL BE CHARITABLE AND WHICH THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE COMPANY MAY SEE FIT.
