Activities - how the charity spends its money
The Friendship Centre is a social centre for older people, open 3 mornings a week. As well as the opportunity for social contact and peer support there are a number of activities on offer, such as art and crafts, dance classes, fitness classes, a local history group and massage. We serve hot lunches twice a week. We are based in Lancaster.

TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSE FOR THE BENEFIT OF OLDER PEOPLE (AGED 55 AND OVER) WITHIN LANCASTER AND DISTRICT. IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL CONTACT, EDUCATION, RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND INFORMATION AIMED AT REDUCING ISOLATION AND IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF OLDER PEOPLE (AGED 55 AND OVER) IN LANCASTER DISTRICT.
