Charitable objects
THE CHARITY IS ESTABLISHED FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSES ONLY AND THE OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY ARE TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY OF CHELMSLEY WOOD BY THE PROVISION OF RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND FACILITIES IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH: (A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION BY THE PROVISION OF TRAINING TO DEVELOP SKILLS IN THE ARTS; (B) THE PROMOTION OF THE ARTS BY THE ESTABLISHING AND MANAGEMENT OF ARTS ACTIVITIES; (C) THE PROMOTION OF THE ARTS BY PROMOTING AND DEVELOPING COMMUNITY EVENTS AND PERFORMANCES TO FACILITATE PARTICIPATION IN THE ARTS; AND (D) THE PROMOTION OF THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID INHABITANTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION, TO IMPROVE THE PHYSICAL AND ECONOMIC CONDITIONS OF LIFE IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION AND FOR SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL DECIDE. THE MAIN AREA OF BENEFIT IS CHELMSLEY WOOD AND THE NORTHERN PART OF THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF SOLIHULL.
