The Activities of NSC include campaigning work on trade justice and fair trade. NSC work with organisations in Nicaragua committed to social & economic justice by organising study tours to Nicaragua & speaker tours in the UK. In addition, NSC provides financial and other humanitarian aid to the poor in Nicaragua.

TO RELIEVE POVERTY IN NICARAGUA IN PARTICULAR BY: 1. ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC AND RAISING AWARENESS AMONGST THE PUBLIC OF THE NATURE, CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF POVERTY IN NICARAGUA AND METHODS OF COMBATING IT BY THE PROVISION OF OR ASSISTANCE IN THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, PUBLICATIONS, SEMINARS AND CONFERENCES; AND 2. PROVIDING FINANCIAL AND OTHER HUMANITARIAN AID TO THE POOR IN NICARAGUA.
