TO ACQUIRE LAND AND PROPERTY IN THE LOCALITY OF STURRY ROAD, CANTERBURY AND THEREAFTER TO HOLD, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN THE SAME, TOGETHER WITH ANY STRUCTURES AND BUILDINGS THAT THE COMPANY MAY DECIDE IN FURTHERANCE OF THE OBJECTS TO INTRODUCE, AS A PARK, GARDEN, OPEN SPACE, WILDLIFE AND RECREATIONAL AREA ("THE GARDEN") FOR THE BENEFIT AND USE WITHOUT CHARGE OF INHABITANTS OF AND VISITORS TO THE LOCALITY IN WHICH THE LAND AND PROPERTY IS SITUATE, FOR THEIR ENJOYMENT, INFORMAL RECREATION, PLAY, OTHER LEISURE TIME PURSUITS AND COMMUNITY EVENTS AND FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF THEIR EDUCATION, PARTICULARLY IN HORTICULTURAL, NATURALIST AND ECOLOGICAL MATTERS.
