(A) TO RELIEVE PERSONS WHO ARE IN CONDITIONS OF NEED OR HARDSHIP OR WHO ARE AGED OR SICK (PARTICULARLY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE WHO ARE SICK ORPHANED DESTITUTE OR IMPOVERISHED AS A CONSEQUENCE OF AIDS) AND TO RELIEVE THE DISTRESS CAUSED THEREBY IN KENYA AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF AFRICA OR THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT. (B) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION BY SUCH MEANS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY CONSIDER APPROPRIATE INCLUDING BY MEANS OF ESTABLISHING AND OPERATING ANY EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENT OR ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE SAID LOCATION AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT. (C) TO RELIEVE UNEMPLOYMENT FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN THE SAID LOCATION AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD AND IN SUCH WAYS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT INCLUDING THE PROVISION OF FINANCIAL AND BUSINESS ASSISTANCE TO UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE TO SET UP THEIR OWN BUSINESSES OR TO SUPPORT EXISTING BUSINESSES. (D) TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN AREAS OF SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEPRIVATION IN THE SAID LOCATION AND IN SUCH OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME THINK FIT SUCH OTHER MEANS WHICH ARE EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AND ARE CONNECTED WITH THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE TRUST SUBJECT TO THE PRIOR CONSENT OF THE CHARITY COMMISSIONERS FOR ENGLAND AND WALES.
