TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF INNER CITY AREAS SUCH AS SHEFFIELD OR ANY OTHER CITY, IN PARTICULAR PEOPLE OF PAKISTANI ORIGIN WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR SEXUAL ORIENTATION, OR RACE, OR OF POLITICAL OR RELIGIOUS OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES AND VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN THE AREAS OF BENEFIT IN A COMMON EFFORT TO : 1. RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS 2. ADVANCE EDUCATION 3. PROTECT AND PRESERVE PUBLIC HEALTH; AND 4. ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR THE RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE AREA OF BENEFIT WHO ARE IN NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.
