CONSTITUTION ADOPTED ON 15 JANUARY 2001, AS AMENDED 11 SEPTEMBER 2004
A) TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE MEMBERS OF AFRICA FRENCH SPEAKING AND BLACK ETHNIC MINORITY AND THE ECONOMICALLY AND SOCIALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITY OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND AFRICA IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY AND TO PROVIDE RELIEF FROM FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OF THE SAID COMMUNITY AND TO ADVANCE THEIR EDUCATION, IN PARTICULAR TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE AFOREMENTIONED RESIDENTS TO PARTICIPATE FULLY IN THE LIFE OF THEIR COMMUNITY IN WAYS WHICH ADDRESSES AND ALLEVIATE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.
B) TO RELIEF UNEMPLOYMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF AFRICAN FRENCH SPEAKING RESIDING IN THE UK AND THE PUBLIC IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT, INCLUDING ASSISTANCE TO FIND EMPLOYMENT.
C) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND RELIVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, RELIEVE SICKNESS AMONGST THOSE SEEKING ASYLUM AND THOSE GRANTED REFUGEE STATUS, PEOPLE DISPLACED BY WARS AND THEIR DEPENDANTS IN THE UNITED KINGDOM.
D) PROMOTE SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS MAY FROM TIME TO TIME BE DETERMINED.
