CONSTITUTION ADOPTED ON 27TH SEPTEMBER 2004 AS AMENDED 9 MAY 2008.
1) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS THROUGH SKILLS TRAINING, BY PROVIDING A PLATFORM WHERE EXISTING OR NEW SKILLS ARE DEVELOPED AND RELEASED INTO A WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND TO EMPOWER REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS BY PROMOTING ¶PEER EDUCATION÷ THROUGH POSITIVE ROLE MODELS, FACILITATING THE ENTRY AND SOCIAL INCLUSION OF THESE WHO CANNOT EASILY PARTAKE IN MAINSTREAM EDUCATION.TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH POSITIVE EXPERIENCES IN TASTE, KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND APPRECIATION OF THE SKILLS THAT REFUGEES AND ASYLUM SEEKERS BRING TO THE UK.
2) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE PRESERVATION OF AND PROTECTION OF HEALTH AMONGST YOUNG PERSONS AND ADULTS, WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, BY:
(2A) PROVIDING CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH THERAPEUTIC AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT IN SCHOOLS BASED ON A PRACTICAL MODEL BACKED BY RESEARCH
(2B) PROVIDING EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS INCLUDING TEACHERS AND PARENTS.
(2C) PROVIDING TRAINING IN THE PRINCIPLES, PRACTICES AND METHODS OF PROVIDING EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS AND IN OTHER ALLIED OR ANCILLARY SUBJECTS.
(2D) PROVIDING SERVICES TO FACILITATE THE PLACING OF PERSONS TRAINED IN THE PROVISION OF EMOTIONAL SUPPORT TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS.
