Charitable objects
1) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF HUTHWAITE, AND SURROUNDING AREAS OF SUTTON-IN-ASHFIELD AND ASHFIELD "THE AREA OF BENEFIT", AND TO ENCOURAGE THESE INHABITANTS TO JOIN TOGETHER WITH VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COLLECTIVE EFFORT TO ADVANCE LEARNING AND EDUCATION, RELIEVE POVERTY AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES WITH THIS OBJECT OF IMPROVING CONDITION OF LIFE FOR THESE INHABITANTS; 2) TO DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF THE SOCIALLY ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED INHABITANTS IN THE COMPANY'S "AREA OF BENEFIT" IN SUCH A WAY AS THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY, AND HELP MEET, THEIR NEEDS AND TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY; 3) TO ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTRE AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE THE SAME, WHETHER ALONE OR IN CO-OPERATION WITH ANY LOCAL AUTHORITY OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN FURTHERANCE OF THESE OBJECTS.
