(2) TO ASSIST CANCER PATIENTS OF THE BIRMINGHAM CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT AND PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES. (3) TO ASSIST AND SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW TREATMENTS FOR CANCER PATIENTS BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND OTHER SUPPORT.
