Charitable objects

FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE MARKET TOWN OF NEWMARKET (NEWMARKET COMPRISING FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS MEMORANDUM THE TOWN OF NEWMARKET AND PARISHES IN THE HINTERLAND, HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE AREA OF BENEFIT") A) TO ASSIST IN IMPROVING AND ENHANCING THE MARKET TOWN OF NEWMARKET AND OTHER SUCH PLACES WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT AS THE CHARITY MAY DECIDE WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE INHABITANTS, PROVIDING THAT IN DOING SO THE CHARITY SHALL NOT RELIEVE ANY LOCAL AUTHORITY OR OTHER STATUTORY AGENCY OF ITS STATUTORY OBLIGATIONS; B) TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECTS OF IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THOSE PERSONS FOR WHOM THE FACILITIES WERE INTENDED; C) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TRAINING; D) TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION, MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT OF HOUSING, RURAL TRANSPORT AND ACCESS TO SERVICES, PROVIDING THAT IN DOING SO THE CHARITY SHALL NOT RELIEVE ANY LOCAL AUTHORITY OR OTHER STATUTORY AGENCY OF ITS STATUTORY OBLIGATIONS; E) TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE OR PURPOSES FOR THOSE LIVING OR WORKING IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT AS THE CHARITY MAY DECIDE.
