Charitable objects
A)ADVANCE EDUCATION, TRAINING AND LEARNING AMONGST THE RESIDENTS AND TO ENHANCE THE DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION OF CHILDREN UNDER STATUTORY SCHOOL AGE BY ENCOURAGING PARENTS TO UNDERSTAND AND PROVIDE FOR THE NEEDS OF THEIR CHILDREN THROUGH COMMUNITY GROUPS. B)PROVIDE, OR ASSIST IN PROVIDING, ADVICE OR ASSISTANCE ON TERMS APPROPRIATE TO THEIR MEANS TO ELDERLY, DISABLED OR CHRONICALLY SICK RESIDENTS WHICH IS SPECIALLY DESIGNED OR ADAPTED TO MEET THE DISABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF SUCH PERSONS. C)RELIEVE POVERTY AMONGST THE RESIDENTS IN SUCH WAYS AS MAY BE THOUGHT FIT. D)PROVIDE, OR ASSIST IN PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING FOR RESIDENTS THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE, INCLUDING ESPECIALLY PERSONS WHO BY YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES MAY HAVE NEED FOR SUCH FACILITIES. E)PROVIDE, OR ASSIST IN PROVIDING, THE MAINTENANCE, IMPROVEMENT OR PROVISIONS OF PUBLIC AMENITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF REGENERATION FOR THE BENEFIT OF SOCIALLY OR ECONOMICALLY DEPRIVED COMMUNITIES IN WHICH THE GROUP MEMBERS OPERATE. F)ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OR MANAGEMENT OF ACCOMMODATION FOR THOSE IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES. G)PROMOTE, OR ASSIST IN PROMOTING, THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF GOOD HEALTH AMONGST THE RESIDENTS (PROVIDED THAT DOES NOT RELIEVE STATUTORY DUTY). H)PROMOTE PUBLIC SAFETY AND UNDERTAKE MEASURES INTENDED TO PREVENT CRIME. I)PROMOTE THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE TO ORGANISATIONS IN AREAS IN WHICH THE GROUP MEMBERS OPERATE TO IMPROVE THEIR EFFICIENCY ‘THE VOLUNTARY SECTOR’ WHICH MEANS CHARITIES AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS ‘CHARITIES’ ARE ORGANISATIONS WHICH ARE ESTABLISHED FOR EXCLUSIVELY CHARITABLE PURPOSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES. J)DEVELOP THE CAPACITY AND SKILLS OF RESIDENTS IN THE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED COMMUNITIES IN WHICH THE GROUP MEMBERS OPERATE IN SUCH A WAY THAT THEY ARE BETTER ABLE TO IDENTIFY AND HELP MEET THEIR NEEDS TO PARTICIPATE MORE FULLY IN SOCIETY. K)FURTHER SUCH OTHER PURPOSES AS ARE CHARITABLE ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES AS THE TRUSTEES MAY FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
