MEMORANDUM AND ARTICLES OF ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED 9 JANUARY 2006 AS AMENDED BY SPECIAL RESOLUTION 14 OCTOBER 2008 as amended on 11 Oct 2018 as amended on 10 Oct 2019
1. To relieve the needs of asylum seekers, refugees and migrants by the provision of information, advice and support;
2. To preserve and protect the physical and mental health of asylum seekers, refugees and migrants and the dependents of persons in those categories;
3 To advance the education of the public in general about the issues relating to refugees, those seeking asylum and persons with precarious migration status;
4 To provide facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of those persons who have need of such facilities;
5 To advance the education and training of refugees, asylum seekers, migrants and their dependents;
6 To promote human rights (as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and subsequent United Nations conventions and declarations) by all or any of the following means:
(i) Relieving need among the victims of human right abuse;
(ii) Conducting research into human rights abuses;
(iii) Educating the public about human rights;
(iv) Raising awareness of human rights issues;
(v) Promoting public support for human rights;
(vi) Promoting respect for human rights among individuals and corporations.
