Activities - how the charity spends its money
We manage Oakwood Community Centre, making it available for community group activities for people of all ages and backgrounds. We also run a Community Cafe where Local Residents can meet other people and find out about local activities and services.To help keep hire charges for groups to a minimum, we hire out for occasional or regular use for private enterprise activities and children's parties.

Charitable objects
A) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF OAKWOOD AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE AREA OF BENEFIT) WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THRE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS. B) TO SECURE AND MANAGE THE COMMUNITY CENTRE (HEREINAFTER CALLED THE CENTRE) AND TO MAINTAIN AND MANAGE , OR TO CO-OPERATING WITH ANY LOCAL STATUTORY AUTHORITY IN THE MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT OF SUCH A CENTRE FOR ACTIVITIES PROMOTED BY THE ASSOCIATION AND ITS CONSTITUENT BODIES IN FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE OBJECTS.
