= TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS RELATING TO MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY = THE PROMOTION OF RESEARCH INTO MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY AND ITS EFFECTS ON FAMILIES OF AFRICAN, ASIAN AND EAST EUROPEAN ORIGIN AND THE DISSEMINATION OF THE RESULTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC. = THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS OF FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS AFFECTED BY MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING, SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT.
