St Peter's aims to promote the preaching and teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ within the parish, and beyond its boundaries. Within Hawkenbury it conducts Church services, bible study groups, school assemblies, youth groups, parent and toddler groups and holiday activities. It seeks to maintain good relationships with other churches within the parish and town and supports missionary partners.
