Charitable objects
TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION BY WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN MERSEYSIDE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR ETHNIC ORIGIN, RELIGION, BELIEF OR CREED (IN PARTICULAR, MEMBERS OF THE BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC COMMUNITY) TO RELIEVE THEIR NEEDS AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY, IN PARTICULAR BY: 1 PROVIDING EDUCATION AND OTHER SUPPORT SERVICES TO RELIEVE THEIR NEEDS AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY 2 INCREASING, OR COORDINATING, OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS OF THE BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC COMMUNITY TO ENGAGE WITH SERVICE PROVIDERS, TO ENABLE THOSE PROVIDERS TO ADAPT SERVICES TO BETTER MEET THE NEEDS OF THAT COMMUNITY 3 SHARING INFORMATION AND BEST PRACTICE RECOMMENDATIONS WITH OTHER BLACK AND MINORITY ETHNIC VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS; AND 4 SEEKING TO INFLUENCE PUBLIC OPINION AND MAKE REPRESENTATIONS TO AND SEEK TO INFLUENCE GOVERNMENTAL AND OTHER BODIES AND INSTITUTIONS REGARDING THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF APPROPRIATE POLICIES PROVIDED THAT ALL SUCH ACTIVITIES SHALL BE CONDUCTED ON THE BASIS OF WELL-FOUNDED, REASONED ARGUMENT AND SHALL IN ALL OTHER RESPECTS BE CONFINED TO THOSE WHICH AN ENGLISH AND WELSH CHARITY MAY PROPERLY UNDERTAKE
