As described in its objects Avon Festivals presented a festival of performing arts in Bristol in July 2011 for young audiences drawn from school in the City and region. The festival was given the name World Stage Festival . A smaller version of this festival is planned for June, 2013.

THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE ARTS OF THEATRE, PHYSICAL THEATRE, DANCE, MUSIC, MIME, MASK, PUPPETRY AND CIRCUS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF YOUNG PEOPLE, BY: A) THE PRESENTATION OF HIGH QUALITY PERFORMING ARTS TO YOUNG AUDIENCES IN FESTIVAL FORMAT IN THE CITY OF BRISTOL OF FARTHER AFIELD IF NECESSARY B) SUCH OTHER MEANS AT THE TRUSTEES DISCRETION INCLUDING CO-OPERATING WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS TO DELIVER PERFORMING ARTS TO YOUNG PEOPLE"
